One of those species that just looks like it’s been around since the dinosaur days. Native to Spain, A. espanyoli has a rugged, stone-textured shell in earthy tones that blends right into natural setups. They’re not in a rush to breed, but they more than make up for it with their unique look and hardy nature. Preferring drier, well-ventilated enclosures, they do great in semi-arid builds with a defined dry area and a smaller moist retreat. A real gem for collectors who like species with a bit of prehistoric flair.
