Armadillo officinalis (Greece) — “Hissing Isopod” Locale

The Greek locale of the hissing isopod is every bit as charming as it sounds — literally. When disturbed, they can produce a faint chirping or hissing noise, making them one of the few isopods you can hear as well as see.
