Quick care

• Lifestyle: Terrestrial/burrower; light webbing; enjoys a large cork hide.
• Enclosure: Floor space over height; very secure lid; strong cross-vent; give it room (these get chunky).
• Substrate: 12–18 cm firmly packed. Keep lower layers lightly damp for slings/juvies; let the surface stay mostly dry as they mature.
• Temps/Humidity: 23–27 °C; moderate humidity with airflow
• Feeding: Voracious—slings 2× tiny feeders weekly; juvies every 5–7 days; adults 7–10 days. Pause during premoult.
• Temperament: Can be defensive; quick bursts and hair flicks—no handling.
