Quick care

• Lifestyle: Terrestrial/burrower; likes a snug hide and will redecorate.
• Enclosure: Floor space over height; secure lid; strong cross-vent. Add a large cork hide.
• Substrate: 12–15 cm, firmly packed. Keep lower layers lightly damp (slings/juvies), surface mostly dry as it matures.
• Temps/Humidity: 23–27 °C; moderate room humidity
• Feeding: Voracious—slings 2× small feeders weekly; juvies/sub-adults every 5–7 days; adults 7–10 days. Pause during premoult.
• Temperament: Can be defensive; quick bursts and hair flicks—no handling.
