Porcellio bolivari (Bolivari Isopod)

Bolivari are one of Spain’s most striking giants — wide-bodied, heavily armored, and covered in a textured exoskeleton that gives them a rugged, powerful look. They’re quick on their feet and highly active, making them just as fun to watch as they are effective at breaking down waste in a bioactive. Best suited for experienced keepers, they prefer well-ventilated setups with lower humidity, a defined dry-to-moist gradient, and plenty of secure hides.
