Porcellio laevis (Smooth Isopod) — “Cali Mix” Locale

Cali Mix are one of my favourites for that natural, earthy look — browns, tans, and subtle patterns that make them blend right into a forest floor setup. They’re tough, breed like champs, and work just as well showing off in a display as they do keeping a bioactive clean. When they’re in stock, they don’t usually stick around for long.

• Humidity: Moderate with a moist hide
• Diet: Leaf litter, decaying wood, veggie scraps, supplemental protein
