Quick care

• Lifestyle: Terrestrial/burrower; appreciates a snug hide and will rearrange décor.
• Enclosure: Floor space over height; secure lid; good cross-vent. Add cork bark + leaf litter.
• Substrate: 10–15 cm, firmly packed. Keep a small corner slightly damp for slings; mostly dry as they mature.
• Temps/Humidity: 21–25 °C; moderate room humidity
• Feeding: Slings 2× small feeders weekly; juvies/sub-adults every 7–10 days. Pause during premoult.
• Temperament: Generally calm; may flick hairs if pushed—look, don’t handle.
