Regal jumping spider (phidippus regius)

Quick Care

• Water: No water dish. Mist every other day with fine droplets (distilled recommended); they drink from walls.
• Light: Diurnal; 10–12 hr LED cycle. No direct sun.
• Temp/Humidity: 22–29 °C (≈25 °C ideal), 50–75% RH.
• Housing: Solo only. Arboreal enclosure with cross-ventilation; ~4×4×6–8” for juveniles/sub-adults. Provide anchor points (cork/twigs/plants).
• Feeding: Prey slightly smaller than the spider; 1-2×/week. Pet-store feeders only (flies, BSFL, small roaches/crickets). Do not overfeed.
• Molting: Plump + hammock = normal. Don’t disturb or feed until they emerge and are active; mist daily during this phase.
